Midwest New Media is seeking highly qualified individuals for the following contract positions:

Type of Position: Contract

Overview: Primary responsibilities include programming, testing, and implementation of database-driven web sites. Secondary responsibilities might include web site planning and design, project management, and working with other web site designers and developers.

Qualifications: Must have at least two years of professional experience in web site development. Communication and organizational skills are a necessity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and capabilities in both web design and development. Applicants must be highly motivated and detail-oriented. Experience in marketing, search engine optimization, project management, and/or customer service is a plus.

Compensation: Contractor will be paid on an hourly or per-project basis, depending on contractor's skills and experience, and on the nature of each project.

Hours: Time commitment will usually vary between 0 and 20 hours per week, and will depend in part upon availability of the contractor. Although contractor will be expected to meet agreed-upon deadlines, the exact hours worked will be up to the contractor. Note: Midwest New Media cannot guarantee future or ongoing work for any contractor.

Location: Contractor must reside and work in the United States.

Requirements: Contractor must have access to the Internet, a place to work, and all computer hardware and software required for each project.
